Walking Football

Walking Football is a small-sided game of 5-7 players, following similar rules as Football, but played at a walking pace. The game is suitable for everyone from over 50’s, to those with health issues and younger players returning from injury.

Walking football also offers a multitude of health benefits, such as reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke while improving blood pressure. With no running, jogging or heading, Walking Football is a fun and safe way for players to enjoy football for longer, get out the house and socialise together.

Walking Football Wigston

We run a walking Football session at Wigston Academy, which is Ideal for anyone who just wants to play football for fun in a social environment. The session is perfect for players who want to return to the game, are returning from injury or who haven’t played that much before.
